Newbie questions - Peterz_pt - 07-18-2018

Hello all and congrats to the developers for this great project so far.

I have some doubts and hope someone can help me.

1) I want to play with TAP (Portuguese airliner) and whenever i start the game there is no fleet on them. Is there a way to add the current fleet of this airline to the game so i can start it realistic or do we have to start with 0 planes? This question is valid to any other airline of course

2) Each slot that i reserve equals to a possible flight? Lets say i reserve 10 slots on LPPT and EGLL. Does that means i can assign 10 flights between these two destinations?

3) When i buy an aircraft does it include staff with it? Or do i have to assign pilots each time i buy an aircraft? If so, how does it work since the same plane might have different flights right?

Hello Peterz_pt,

1) You start with 0 Airliner and must buy or lease them.

2) Inbound 1 Slot and Outbound 1 Slot

3) At the moment the Airliner "include" the staff. Pilots and Crew not implemented yet.

I have found a minor error on TAP's description since its not 100% state owned anymore. David Neeleman bought a majority share.

1) Understood.

2) So imagine that i want to have an aircraft doing several flights a day for the same destiny. Only one slot recquired or one slot per flight?

3) So if i buy an aircraft i wont need to hire any aditional staff or i got it wrong?

Example for point 2 :


Departure Lisboa at 07:00 to Frankfurt (Monday to Sunday) - 1 Slot
Arrival from Frankfurt at Lisboa 13:30 (Monday to Sunday) - 1 Slot
Departure Lisboa at 15:00 to Frankfurt (Monday to Sunday) - 1 Slot
Arrival from Frankfurt at Lisboa at 21:30 (Monday to Sunday) - 1 Slot

3) You dont need to hire staff at the moment.
