New game in 1970
#1
I tried to create a new game set in 1970, using all available opponents and it crashed. This is the log:

Game time: 01/01/1970 12:00:00 AM
Version: Version 2.14 Patch I (Alpha)
01/12/2019: 10:44 PM System.InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains no elements

Try using 50 opponents, game isnt optimised for so many opponents yet and does cause it to crash.
Run game in administrator mode, i have to do this when i play games from the past.

I can run the game with 700+ opponents without any performance issues. Wink

The crashlog above has a different problem: it tries to give each airline its main airport at the start of the game, but it can't find the airport for a certain airline.
I thought I fixed it, but I'll have to give it another look.

Thanks for reporting.

Good to know! I was puzzled as to why sometimes it will start with 130 airlines and sometimes not, I guess it’s the “choose airlines at random” option. Sometimes the buggy one will be chosen and sometimes not.

Indeed. Smile

It's also good to know that it may be different airlines at different years.

I tried to narrow it down a bit. I started a new game in 1940, including smaller airlines and it crashed. I narrowed it down to the airline in question being a minor, passenger airline, available in both 1940 and 1970. I don't think it's an American line as my game started just fine using all opponents in 1968, when I narrowed it down to the North and South America.

I believe I've found the culprit for 1940 - Palestine Airways. The method I used was try to select airline to play, one by one, from the full list. Palestine wouldn't even load, which is probably caused by a missing home airport.

I checked every airline from 1970 and couldn't find the culprit this way.

It is indeed the same bug again. I'm not sure why it happens now, but I'll run some tests again and hopefully have a fix in the next patch.
