I think that it would be very helpful, if the player could transfer his gameplay data from the old version to the new version.


It would have the advantage that the player would not have to start from beginning if the team released a new version.

Similarly would be to allow the player to develop their own scenario that would be transferable.

That's something for a future version, when there are less changes to the save structure.
Right now that would just break the game with each update.

That's something you see with all(?) early access games.
At least if they are released in the alpha phase.
