That's a known bug. It's fixed in Patch E which should be released this weekend.

If the feature "Stopover - VIA" is back in the game, you can also fly with an Lockheed L-749 with a fuel stop from New York to Amsterdam. Only patience  Smile

Under "Home -> Fleet" and at the end of the homebase entry of the airliner, click on the last symbol on the right. (Convert aircraft to cargo)

Thanks for the reply Tomcatter,

Unfortunately I only see "Sell aircraft" and "Replacing the aircraft.....". Could it be the option is not there, because the game thinks there are still routes assigned? When I read your reply I remembered I have seen that option in the past somewhere.

The aircraft should not be active on any routes indeed.

We will also release a patch tomorrow which should fix the bug with the airliner still being active on a route although you removed the flights.
