what's the best configuration to ensure profitabiliy? and can the demand increase ?

I'm working on a realistic demand model (for now only for me by the updated 2k17 airport usage) and implementing it to the new code, but sometimes there are some huge airports where the usage is around 40M and I added it to the game what went a bit berserk when it got those numbers.
Anyway, I'm working on it for europe now (including all the european airports, even the small ones).
And just to let you understand what do I mean with the first part:

If you want a correct number, multiply by x1000.

I bet you understood those values wrong.
+ those values are carefully chosen.
It's kinda hard to explain how I calculate them.
Those values represent a percentage of how many passengers use the airport at a certain season.
To increase overall demand of an airport, you still have to go to the actual airport files.
I'm creating those accurate values for about 100 airports each update.
If you think there are any incorrect values, please just tell me. I'll see what I can do.

i'm trying to create a hub so i have around 48 route go through the same airport and it's demand is still not getting up
or is it fixed?

Demand should increase with each new connecting flight.
But demand doesn't increase enough for you to fill big airliners in smallest airports, no matter how many connecting flights you have.
In real life passengers prefer to connect through big airports, because they know there is stuff to do there.
This is reflected in the game.

30 yrs ago a municipal airport in the US looks better and bigger then DXB
it's now one of the biggest hubs in the world

airports don't stay small forever they get bigger if you invest in them and they progress

Omg, sorry Tjoeker, I thought they were like with the old version, ok, so those are percentiles, I thought about it, but then I saw a 120 entry andI said, that it’s impossible. ?
If you could PM me how it works, it would be great, so I could understand it better. ?

The average comes to 100 on a year basis.
But the values for a season can be far above 100 if the values for the other 3 seasons are very low.
