Leasing Aircraft? - trusty - 03-28-2018 Leasing Aircraft should be more intuitive. The costs should be listed, and confirmed upon leasing or when terminating a lease. Also, there are no costs associated with signing a deal with a certain leasing company. I would assume that the listed percentage discount applies only when you sign a deal, correct? But, again... can't discern the difference or do a cost benefit analysis without any information. This program desperately needs to let the user take a look under the hood, so to speak. Otherwise, it's just nothing more than guessing at things... that you can't even fully analyze, before nor after the fact. Another related question. Does the distance flown on an aircraft matter? I don't see any distance increases. So, I'm wondering if the only thing that matters is the age of aircraft; or, if the distance matters at all. Finally, are there any objectives to achieve within this simulation? Other than the opening screen music... I don't feel like I'm welcome, nor working towards anything. There needs to be a lot more hand-holding going on... so that the user can feel like they are a part of something. For instance, there are no emails on day one. There should at least be emails and news feeds that kick off your campaign. But, it just feels stale, right from the beginning. Which, is worse than going to actual work. At least there is a chance for recognition IRL. This program seems to lack any there-there. For now, the game is far away from being finished. There will be more and more features in future releases, but for now the game is as it is. If you have any suggestions, let the devs know what should be added, so they can have more ideas about what to do. Anyway, I'm playing it in a really serious way, I created a full spreadsheet for one of the airlines and I'm trying to recreate it and afterwards try to expand it further to see, where should I get with it. Have a nice day. Picoo000 (the creator of the intro music) RE: Leasing Aircraft? - trusty - 03-28-2018 (03-28-2018, 05:24 PM)picoo000 Wrote: Hi trusty. Thanks for the reply. I'm interested in figuring out what the objective of the program is, or if there will ever be any objectives in it. Are we just supposed to use our imagination? Or, is the program intended to have a purpose? RE: Leasing Aircraft? - Tjoeker - 03-28-2018 Hey Trusty, Everything will indeed, like Picoo000 said, become more indepth or polished when the time comes. For now the game is mainly focussed on a sandbox mode, with a few scenarios. I've been inactive over the last week, but I believe Picoo000 is working on some more scenarios. For the far future, there was an idea some time ago to implement a campaign of some sort. You could be a person being hired to work for an airline, until you are fired or you choose to work for another airline. But, if this gets implemented, it's still for the distant future. Last Post - Mathewdualf - 01-10-2019 This is probably extremely obvious and Im probably missing something buuuuuuut.... On the old boards, after clicking a thread in the unread posts section sooo glad its here too it would take you to the last post you read, but here its taking me to the OP every time. I was wondering if there was a way to change this to the last post I viewed? Thaaaanks RE: Leasing Aircraft? - Tjoeker - 01-10-2019 I'm not sure, does clicking 'last post: *author*' at the right side of the table actually take you to the last post, or does it take you to the first unread post? |
