Hi

I need some help since I am looking into implementing departures during the night, and I can't figure out which airports allows this. So far it seems like European and Australian airports don't allow it, but do anybody knows anything regarding the topic? Also if it is per region, country or airport

I know it is per airport.
Departure/arrival times started to become regulated over time from the 80's (or end of the 60's?) on.
Some airports let you fly a limited number of night time departures, while others don't allow it at all.
Some airports consider 00.00-6.00 night time, while other think 01.00-05.00 is night time.

It's a really complicated mess, and I think it will make the game messy.

I believe this is the best option we have:
either allow or don't allow night time departures/arrivals.
If it's not allowed, you can only depart/arrive between 06.00 and 00.00.
Also, these regulations come over time in the game (consider it an airport expansion in the xml?). I can do my best to find the true dates of the implementation for each specific airport for my update. Smile

I also noticed that many german airports on wikipedia included these infos. Smile

This file actually made me think of something to add.
Some airports only allow cargo flights during the night.

With pleasure. An idea would be that only international and large airports in Europe have night-time flight restrictions.

Medium international and small airports not when modern airliners in use. 

This only for Europe.
