Help a newbie, pls? - Nefelibata - 05-25-2018 So, I started playing this game yesterday and, although it looks really promising, I've already found myself in a tight spot (cuz I'm stupid). 1. I bought 3 used aircrafts and assigned each one to a different route. They've generated income for 2 months and then stopped. I just don't know why. How should I start? Where did I go wrong? 2. Is there any difference between an A-rating to an E-rating pilot? 3. I know this question is absolutely subjective but... What is an effective way to price my services and tickets? Is there a way to measure customer satisfaction in-game? How to know if my prices are ok or not? Those are just a few questions. I'm still trying to figure a few things out, but any tips to a totally new player are appreciated! Thanks in advance. RE: Help a newbie, pls? - Tjoeker - 05-25-2018 Hey Nefelibata, welcome to the forum. 1. I'm assuming you flew between airports that both had no slots constrains and you scheduled the flight for the current season? If that's the case, your flights are supposed to end when the season ends. You have to schedule them to 'all year (next season)' to have them lasting. I'll see if there is any way we can improve this. 2. I don't think we have implemented any features regarding pilots yet. 3. Improved economics and flight scores have to be implemented yet. At the moment, if you raise your prices and see the filling degree dropping a lot, then it is probably to expensive. Have fun. Might've been the case, but I'm not sure ' About #2 and #3, I've just realised game's still in Alpha. About prices, I'll try and experiment a lot from now on. Just another question: what is the in-game difference between domestic, regional and short haul licenses at the moment? Thanks a lot for your answers! RE: Help a newbie, pls? - Tjoeker - 05-26-2018 Domestic means you can't cross border controls. So your flight has to be within the same country. However if your flying for example in the EU, you can fly between countries since they have open borders. You can check the open border agreements in your routes overview. The others mean you can cross borders and with each license improvement you can fly further. |
