airports before the 1960s - 2466254711 - 07-17-2018
Hi!
Recently while I was gathering information of old airlines, I realized that IATA code was not available until the 1960s. This infects some airlines which operates on airports ceased operation before 1960s due to the missing code and I do not know what to do with it. Also, there are old airports using the same ICAO and IATA code as the new one yet with different name and location what can we do about it?

As long as the airports with the same IATA code are not from the same time period, we can use the from and to-tags to specify when it is operating and that way it doesn't matter if they are the same:
