planes are not flying - Orvalvisje - 11-23-2018 Have been reading a bit through this forum, and i am encountering some problems that i have as well: - I have 4 pilots qualified for my plane, but in the screen they say that they are all unassigned, - How can i contract cabin crew? - I have 3 lines (all every day of the week), all of them are present in the roster, however, on the route sumary screen, there is only one line that says it has 7 flights, the other have 0 - My plane is not flying as well, so how can i start my plane to fly on the route? the game is not paused, i have set a ticket price, routing info and scheduled a departure time and clicked return flight. All lines are return flights, and there's plenty of time between them. I would love some start-up help here, please! RE: planes are not flying - delia299 - 11-23-2018 have you press "play" button on your route? and check your slot at the airport, can you have slot? last, check your schedule. If your setting route play on next season because you not have slot and you force making route, you can wait until season end and check again your route. Because, pilot system not implemented now and cabin crew dll 2 point must be your attention : flight schedule and your slot at airport or maybe "play" button for playing your route RE: planes are not flying - Tjoeker - 11-23-2018 I think you scheduled flights on those 2 routes for the next season. While the other is scheduled to start this season already. You can only schedule flights to airports for this season if you have the slots ready. If the airport is coordinated, it means you will have to wait for the next season (if you filed them before the season deadline) before you get your slots. RE: planes are not flying - Orvalvisje - 11-23-2018 ok, thus my understanding: at the moment (i think i have 2.13) i do not need to contract pilots? I have pressed play in the main game (right hand corner) but i can not seem to find a "play" option on each route? UPDATE: i just found a left to right scroller (i use a small screen) and found the route play button Also, in my schedule, i have planned the planes for the whole year (and they appear in the planning), so i don't really grasp the concept of the season planning here And on the topic of slots: what is the concept: is it 1 slot per line (for example BRU-BSB, daily flight=1 slot even if BRU-DUB weekly flight also 1 slot) or per flight? RE: planes are not flying - Tjoeker - 11-23-2018 You probably have 2.13 yes (the only version downloadable at the moment). You don't need pilots indeed. The play button will only appear after the flight is confirmed. (check status on the left in the list). Flights get confirmed if slots at both sides of the route are confirmed. (immediately for non coordinated and schedules faciliated airports; for coordinated airports, only after the season start) ---- There are two seasons in the game: Summer and Winter. Both seasons have a deadline. For coordinated airports, you have to apply for new slots before the deadline else you will have to wait until the season thereafter. If you applied for the slots before the deadline, your slots will be approved by the start of the season. You can schedule flights before your slots are approved, but only for the next season. (by then your slots will be approved) Does this kind of explain the season planning? ---- On the topic of slots: You can rent a minimum of 1 slot per airport. One slot means you can have 7 weekly flights to that airport (and back). RE: planes are not flying - Orvalvisje - 11-26-2018 ok, trial and error ... the seasons, i get. I am sort of flying, however, i found out that even though i do not need to assign pilots to planes, i do have to contract some though. Also, how to assign which plane/line has what kind of class? I have to set prices and services for all classes, but in the airplane list, most of them only have room for 2 classes: so how can i determine which airplane/line gets which class(es)? RE: planes are not flying - Tjoeker - 11-26-2018 You don't have to contract any pilots at all. It is possible that the game bugs when you contract a pilot and then proceeds to tell you don't have enough pilots. So the solution is to not touch it at the moment. You can set the classes at 2 places: -When ordering, next to the aircraft in your 'shopping basket' is a tool icon. Click it to change the configuration. -in your airline fleet overview, click on the tail number. Then at the right side, on 'seat map'. You can set prices for all classes when creating a route, but only the classes you have in the airliners on the route will actually be used. |
