[Approved] Russian Air Laws (restricted airspace) - MDubz - 03-06-2019 Hey, I recently found out about how Russia only allows one airline per country (except the UK with both BA & Virgin Atlantic) to fly over it's airspace. Maybe this could be implemented with like a similar system to hubs or something? I'm not sure, just thought it was a cool fact to be honest. ---Also, this links to costs involved with flying over countries, e.g certain prices for flying over certain nations. Thanks, Matt RE: Russian Air Laws - Tjoeker - 03-06-2019 We have overflying rights and restricted airspaces planned for one of the future versions. We now have a basic idea how to simulate this. (previously we said it would be impossible with the current flight system) Unfortunately there is no way to see how long you are flying over what country. So there is no way we can implement country specific overflying fees. We'll have to do with 1 generic overflying fee for every country. RE: Russian Air Laws - MDubz - 03-07-2019 Sounds good! Will be looking forward to that update Thanks ~Matt RE: Russian Air Laws - Aether - 03-10-2019 Great to see you are thinking about such things guys. |
