Pilots get auto assigned - PzKenny - 08-01-2016
Hi all,
I have the following issue. I have one L-049 and 6 Avro Yorks. The L-049 is already on a route and has 4 pilots assigned to it, but I have no pilots for the Yorks yet. So I go to Staff and hire 4 (the youngest) pilots to be trained for one York. When I went to My Airline-Employees I noticed 3 of the new pilots were assigned to the one L-049 that already had 4 pilots (so now it has 7 pilots assigned to it). I noticed the three pilots were all trained for the L-049 and the one that did not assign was not.
Now the other problems is I do not know how to remove a pilot from a plane (made another post about it in the discussion section). Only sollution I can think of is firing the three pilots and hire three new ones that can not fly the L-049, but I do not think that is how it was intended.
Kind Regards,
PzKenny
Edit 1: dismissing three of my pilots assigned to the L-049 caused all my L-049 pilots to be dismissed accept for one (in the My Airline-Employees screen). I have the feeling pilot assignment is a little bugged at the moment or I am doing something seriously wrong.
Edit 2: So I hired three new L-049 pilots and assigned them. Then I hired three new pilots to be trained for the York and put them on training. This was done without problems, but then when the training was finished I went to My Airline-Fleet & Routes to assign them to one of the Yorks I have. I only could assign three of them but the fourth did not show up in the list. So I checked the My Airline-Employees screen and noticed all four were assigned to the York, but at the plane screen it only shows three pilots and I can not add the one not showing.
Edit 3: I figured out you can assign a pilot-less plane to a route and you will get a popup to hire the missing crew. This actually fixed my ghost pilot issue with the York. As I assigned the plane to a route I got a popup that I was missing one pilot. I told it to hire one, but it just assigned the ghost pilot to the plane properly.
