TAPv2 - nnick - 02-27-2017 Hi, I really like the new style of tap and I know that a lot of features have not yet been implemented, but how do I get slots. when i go the the airport and hit slots I click on next. There I select the time i want the slots and click apply for slot. But when will i get the slot? Nothing seem to happen. Waited for a full year and checked my mail, but there is nothing about the slots. Also buying a new airliner does not work. It will simply never deliver. Am i doing someting wrong? For the buying of an airliner I need to test it, because I haven't seen that myself RE: TAPv2 - Therealnick - 04-23-2017 After the issues with the older versions I had a look into V2, and I must admit, that the new style is not my favorite one... All over the day I have downloaded and tested older versions, and although they are all "buggy" they looked better and were easier to handle than V2. If the game is coded completely new this is one thing, but why changing the old-fashioned way we were used to play? I dont think, it goes in the right direction here. The "old-style" was way better than the new, perhaps some kind of retro, but nice and easy to handle. Sorry, but I cant understand why everything in the game must be changed!!! Thats the reason why I would prefer a bugfix for older versions (which ever) way more than V2! My only hope for V2 is, that the COMPLETE AIRPORT-DATABASE will be copied from the file I made!! I hope all existing faulty data will be deleted and be replaced by the database you have received from me @pjank! This one is correct and not the old one! (As well as I dont understand, why the airport-database in older versions show up e.g. 1 airport in Albania and when I search Albania for it, there is no airport listed...) And P.S.: Please tell me how to implement the airport database from 051 in 0394/042/043sp1, thx. Surely it can be programmed like "1 start per minute per runway", but what about landing airliners? Surely the game will become more realistic with slots, but I guess this will raise another potential bug-problem, so that I think it will be better to keep running parts running, without changing everything over and over again. RE: TAPv2 - pjank42 - 04-24-2017 The game style has changed because a huge number of people asked for a more modern look, so I guess that is a matter of preferences and something which will not be changed for now. Regarding using the airport data for older data, you might just try and copy them into the correct folder, since I can't remember if the format changed in that period. Else if you want to edit the airports, there are no longer such thing as an editor, since it is plain xml, which is much easier to edit directly in the files. So turn on your prefered XML editor and you are ready to edit the data, and you don't have to wait for it to be imported by somebody else RE: TAPv2 - Therealnick - 04-24-2017 OK, thx for the tip!! But where do I find the pax counts and gates there?? I am a little bit confused, because I do not find any pax or gate data... I have downloaded 5 XML-editors, but I couldn't find any pax or gates in there. Some kind of data displayed there were very confusing... Which XML-editor will display ALL airport-data incl pax+gates or which file do I have to find? P.S.: I have tried to copy the airports-daatabase from 051 into 043, didn't change anything, missing airports in 043 are still not to find. Obviously that didn't work... I have checked EVERY SINGLE airport of the old-db and corrected them before you have received it and I have added all airports on earth with scheduled services. It's 99,9% impossible, that you have received incorrect data from me! Except you meant the sometimes differing airport names. I put in the todays official names. And I still think the todays airport names are more important as some names that have been used upto the seventies or eighties. And there are some airports that have chenged their names up to 7 or 8 times. Will you have all these names implemented in the game? In my opinion definitely not necessary... Sorry, but this is a fairy-tale and I don't know, why you wrote it, because thats NOT TRUE!! Seemed that I have wasted lots of my time to get CORRECT data into the game, but obviously you want to use the INCORRECT data in the game (like the fantasy pax counts of the turkish guy) ... And therefore I didn't receive any infos cc pretended faults I am sure there is none!! I have been home the a sick child the last days so I haven't had the time to answer your mails and for now I don't want to, so please leave this forum, since with that kind of language we wouldn't be needing your help... AT ALL.... And I already pointed out some of the issues with the data the first time you sent them like a couple of them having coordinates 0.0.0, demand like 2.3 etc... But again it doesn't matter any longer since I wouldn't be needing your help :-( |
