Subsidiary choice

Hi,

i can create a subsidiary from scratch, would it be possible instead to create a subsidiary by choosing from real airlines that are not already present in-game?

I think he means he wants to create a subsidiary of an existing airline that is not present in the game he is playing.
You can create a subsidiary with any name and pick the logo of the real airline.

i think he means an airline that's in the game but not selected as an opponenet and for that to be in place all you have to do is to add it in the game and take it over with shares and voila

My apologies for not being clear,

i mean for example that if i play for with a single opponent named say Virgin Atlantic, i can create a subsidiary without buying over anyone, or creating from scratch a new company by selecting name, color, etc and looking through game files for a logo,

but rather i could have an additional option to choose from airlines present in the database, say Air Asia, which does not currently exist in my current game, coming straight with the proper color, logo etc.

In addition, there could also be the extra possibility down the line to choose from airlines from all eras, and since it has been discussed elsewhere to have other airlines AI behave more or less historically in their routes choices this could maybe affect such subsidiaries as well.

Not that i personally mind looking through files for a logo at all, but i reckon it would be a nice touch and in the final game one shouldn't have to look through game folders.

as i said add air asia a 3rd opponenet and take it over with shares so it becomes your sub

I have added so it is possible to import an existing airline (which is not used in the current game) and use it is subsidiary

Would it be possible to choose a home country for a subsidiary other than that of the parent company?
