So this evening i tried making some airline files only for it to all mess up.

Area Code 102 (UK) for some reason in game was showing up as Latvia
Preferred Airport was STN (London Stansted) and in game was showing up as Harare (Zimbabwe).
Any idea what went wrong.

Pjank take a look at it for me please and tell me what i did wrong.

If i can master this i will create XML files for loads of global defunct airlines, and current airlines that you guys haven't added

Oh I'm sorry.

Area codes are for the next version, I put it in the tutorial for people sending it over to us.
For the current version you still need country codes. (UK is 130 I believe).
For the next version, replace country="" by area="" and use the area IDs.

You have to create the focus airports like this:

Ok will have ago
Also the airline logo isnt showing up even though its the right file name in the right folder.

Also its still showing Zimbabwean Airports instead of Stansted when i put STN as my prefered airport

You don't have multilogo's set right?

(just to make sure):
Then the logo should be in this folder: data/graphics/airlinelogos.
The name of the logo should be exactly the same as the filename (Including capitals)
Have you tried leaving out the .png extension from the logo? < if this is the issue, I guess I'll update the tutorial.
Is the logo actually a .png and not a Eg.: .jpg where you changed the extension to .png without using a photoshop of some kind? (if so, just safe as .png)



I'm not sure what might be causing the Zimbabwean airport to show up.
Did you set the country ID to 130?

However, in the code you shared with us, I don't see Stansted mentioned anywhere. (except for the narrative)
I only see London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Shannon.


Also, I'm wondering if the color works?
I don't know if you can just put RGB values there instead of the name of the color?



If you still have issues, can you send the latest version of your code? I'll see if I can spot any mistakes while testing it.

Here is the latest code.
The country and airports are now fine.
Logo still not showing and neither is the narrative.
Need to change the colour

The logo works fine here. Are you sure you didn't put it in the multilogo folder? or not in the airlineR images folder?
The logo is named '7L1.png'? (lower case extension name?)


After changing the color to the name instead of RGB values the narrative also shows up just fine.
