So hello everybody.
Yesterday I started updating the stats for the game.
As I was re-writing the .xml files, I noticed that they were created randomly, so I decided to create a Real World version, based on data from FlightRadar24.
Also theese files contain the pax requirement for the route between the airports as I saw, so I'm re-tweeking them based on Realistic Data.
My question is: Can I share it or not? Should I share it, or not? Is anybody interested?
Maybe when I finish it, the new version of the game will be out, so it will become obsolete, but if somebody wants it, leave a message below, so I can start uploading it to somewhere.
Right now I was able to re-write, add and modify the data only for the "Axx" based IATA's.
Further updates would be pushed off if there was some interest from you guys.
Have a good day, and if there is a request for it, I can upload it tomorrow. Just let me know with a reply.

Hey Picoo000,
Great to see there is yet another one interested in up to date stats.
First off all, of course you can share the file and I'm sure there will be some interest.
Are you referring to the airports xml or the major destinations files?
The major destination files will become obsolete with the next release. (which is only due end of February/early March)
We created a new demand formula, so we don't need to set demand on individual routes any more.
I tested the formula on 100+ routes between 20 airports, and it appears to be pretty accurate.
One of the projects I'm currently working on is actually updating all airport stats, and even including historic data.
This means we will have accurate demand from the start of the game (1930) until now (2017).
We will probably do a first release at the start of the summer (quick estimation), and will consist only of European airports.
It will probably take another full year to complete the project, so we're trying to keep the original airports xml as well for the players who want to play with the whole world. (but it's not guaranteed at the moment)
Anyway, it doesn't matter which of the 2 you mean, Any demand update on the current version is welcome.

I'm currently updating all the _stats .xml files adding more and more info, even adding new destinations which were not there.
I will try to share it as soon as I finish the first part, as it takes a huge chunk of time to completely rework the file, making it more appealing to the eyes and maybe easier for the game code to read.
Anyways, I will keep updating this post with all the news.
Have a nice day.

I'm tempted to play with your stats.
I'd gladly play with more destinations.

Well, today I tested it (after 1 hour of bugfixing in the .xml files... thanks to VS17 that shows me my errors ), and the problem of mine is simple:
- There are other airports not listed on the stats.xml files, and they seem to be randomly thrown to the poll of the available destinations list.
Can you guys tell me if I'm correct or not? If not, where can I find this "second" list of airports?
Adding a screenshot of Agadir, which already had been re-created with the new stats, adding the .xml screenshot and the game sreeenshot.
Legend:
- The ones underlined with Green had been added by me manually.
- The ones underlined with Red had been added automatically by the game (I would like to remove these!)
Can you guys tell me any suggestions how to remove the unwanted ones? Thanks.

There is some kind of formula that defines demand to a set of airports. (I don't know how it's defined what routes get demand)
You can't remove these. Perhaps you can overwrite them in the destination files by stating the demand is 0 for that route. But I assume it will still show up in the list.
Overwriting it might cause some bugs, you will need to test it.
Errr, just to make sure you didn't overlook it in my post, the files will get replaced by a formula that should cover it all..
