I have an idea for a scenario but the thread that UI posted it on is inactive so I am going to repost it here.

Airline: Pan American World Airways
Scenario Name: The Most Experienced Airline In The World
Description: The year is 1968 and Pan American World Airways is the Queen of the Skies with her valued fleet of Jet Clippers. The legendary airline's founder, Juan T. Trippe, has just stepped down as president and Pan Am's board of directors have chosen YOU to take charge and help lead the airline into the future of aviation. Can you accomplish the goals set by the board, overcome the competition and help Pan Am thrive into the 21st Century?

Your Goal: Become the World's Biggest International Airline by 2018 (50 Years).
Competitors: American Airlines, BOAC (later British Airways), KLM, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, Trans World Airlines


Is this a good idea for a scenario?

Also, I know Pan Am went defunct in 1991 so I am considering this as an alternate future.

The idea is good. Or you start the scenario earlier. 1930 would fit perfectly into Pan Am's era of flying boats. Can Pan Am manage the climb again and survive the turmoil of the Second World War?

Unfortunately I doubt we will be allowed to use real life airlines in the game. (I will enable mods so you guys can add them yourself)

Airlines that have been out of service for a while, and that weren't purchased by any airline still active might be possible.
But that in itself seems like a hassle to figure all out.


I will try and get in touch with some airlines to see what they think about being in the game.
But I'm not very optimistic about it.
