Hi,

i have just discovered the game and am i am trying it out,

due to the high tax in the US ( 40%) i decided to try a game with the bahamas since a quick google search said it has 0 corporate tax rate, but in game it has 17% "coperate" tax rate ( a misspelling i presume )

I suppose it must be correct?

Where can i find information on which countries have the lowest tax rates please?

Are you playing version 0.51 or prealpha 10.5?

for the latter, which is the latest version of TAP v2, it doesn't really matter as the economics are broken anyway..
It's very easy to make money, as long as you find a route with high demand.


If you're playing 0.51, the latest stable version of TAP v1, 10% is the lowest I've encountered.
But lower tax rates isn't always better.
Seen you're playing out of the US, you can for example create a hub in a dense populated area and make connections to major airports in that area with a decent sized aircraft.
E.g. fly with a B737 between New York, Chicago, Montreal and Washington/Baltimore and you will find yourselves making profit soon enough.

The main reason for the corporation tax not being correct for Bahamas is that at the moment the real values are missing for a number of countries. For those the value is just calculated
