Airport Duplicates in xml files

Hey guys,

When I took a look at the Data/Data/addons/airports folder, I found some doublicated Airports like PLS (north america:10214 and europe:2652), YPW(north america:831 and north america:2793), GIB (europe:10750 and europe:2269), KSU(europe:3791 and europe:4180). Some of these do have (slightly) different values (GIB1 has 5 gates, GIB2 has only 3 gates, they differ in runwaylength too EDIT: When I looked up all information about gibraltar, i found that one gibraltar has the correct location, and the other one has the current runwaylength... ).

I'm not sure if this is a huge bug, but it might result in unexpected behavior "Why has Gibraltar only 3 Gates, I found 5 gates in the xml file" - So I thought i'll mention it here. 

I'm not talking about IATA Codes like MUC, which are duplicated in reality (and which do have a period tag, so they won't be active at the same time).

EDIT: I'm pretty sure DRK is labeled as SYQ by accident in north america:12075, because all data including Airportname and coordinates seem to fit for DRK, not for SYQ, and there is another SYQ in north america:12243, that seems to be the real SYQ airport.

Did you fix all bugs like this, or all that i mentioned here? Because I found some other strange things (for example a non-closed Airport-Tag MCI north america:7753) - And i don't know if i should mention them here or if it's just useless spamming

I fixed the ones I could find and for MCI we have that it is opening in 1972 and closes in 2199 :-) But if you have anything please let me know

Ok, these are all things i found out during digging through xmls:


Some of my line numbers might be a bit different, because i made some other changes too, but i hope they do help you.

EIS is doubled, north america:13699 and europe:2683 (this is prob. acceptable, because it makes this airport pop up, if you play only noth america or only europe (close to NA, but polical europe)

BGO's Helipads are inserted in <terminals> and not in <runways>, same counts for OSR

KSU is doubled europe:3808 and europe:4197

GIB is doubled europe:2269 and europe:10767

YPW is doubled north america:831 and north america:2793

JFK's Helipads are inserts in <terminals> and not in <runways>

The MKC, open during 1927 - 1972 is not an independed <airport> in <airports>, but is a subcategory to MIC (like <town>, <coordinates> etc.)

GDT is doubled north america:10229 and europe:2109 (See my note above)

MDS is doubled north america:10244 and europe:2584

NCA is doubled north america:10258 and europe:2626

SLX is doubled north america:10272 and europe:2697

XSC is doubled north america:10286 and europe:2711

Drake Bay has wrong icao / iata codes. (and, according to my informations, wrong latitude & longitude)

GCM is doubled north america:12763 and europe:2255

Colonel Hill Airport has wrong icao / iata codes.

SKB is doubled north america:12749 and north america:13525

BON is doubled north america:13599 and north america:13627

BDA is doubled north america:13715 and europe:2313

I'm sorry that i cannot simply add my changed xml Files, because i changed some other things, too. (like increasing popularity of loved airports etc )
