What happenned with the old system of route demand calculation?

I always play with All Nippon Airways(The base is Narita, Tokyo) and in the 0.5.0 version, NRT-CTS has a demand of 584 passengers but in 0.5.1 version there are only 8 passengers demand in the same route.
In a test with a Boeing 737-700 with the same configuration in one month on 0.5.0 my company has a filling degree of 64.48% (which is realistic) against 0.68% of 0.5.1.

Please, pjank42, can you tell me why it happenned?
