I'm interested in giving the player more cons and pros as to why they would use a certain type.
I had an idea of a con: If you purchase a new airliner of a new family, your maintenance increases with a (high) new basic cost.
As you have to train your staff to handle the type, and might need new machinery to execute the maintenance.
Of course, the outsourcing of maintenance means that you don't have this additional cost, but the maintenance cost per aircraft would be higher then.
With a new family I mean:
You for example have a couple of A319s and A320s. These belong to the same family (A32S)
Now you decide to buy a new type, A330. This is new family in your fleet.
For example Ryanair only uses the 737 family to cut costs this way.
We might need some more pros and cons to why you would choose to use 1 or more families.
Or why you would choose for example Embraer over Bombardier or Fokker.
I often end up using the same aircraft in every game..
I believe different engine types are included, or at least were included in v1.
Could you elaborate on what we are/were missing in this feature? (assuming you knew this)
