I have noticed some similar wonkiness. Some of my planes will happily let me schedule them into having like 1-2h of downtime. Some will refuse to go below 10-14h of downtime, even when scheduling routes that would put it comfortably above that 1-2h of downtime the other planes are totally cool with. All are the same exact plane model (737-7M); only thing that's different is the city pairs I'm scheduling to. It's clear there's some sort of mandated downtime for each plane, but the length of that mandated downtime seems to vary wildly depending on factors I don't understand. Does it maybe have something to do with the service centers available (or lack thereof)?
