I agree with you on most points, and I don't think you offended the game in anyway.
As I understand you really like accuarcy in the game, and so do I. Ofcourse this does require some gamemechanics to be inplemented, but also getting the write data. I actually was working on European airports to be Historical accurate. That included putting all the runway- or terminalextensions, name changes, closing etc in the airport xml's.
The problem is that getting data from the old days is hard, getting good data from the old days is even harder. So I agree with you, I would really like to see more accuracy in game, en maybe some extra gamemechanics. The documentation would be fantastic, that way the community could start processing data.
