In my game in 1940, I can see a large number of used Commando C-46 Cargo, even though this type was only introduced in 1941, and truly entered service in 1943 IIRC. Overall, though, postwar planes probably shouldn't be available until 1946-7.

Actually, I discovered that BOAC operated a single CW-20, which is a passenger civilian version, from 1941, so this plane could be included in the game, albeit in very small numbers, in 1941.
