Hi! So I bought 3 a380-800 planes but when i tried to assigned a route for one of the planes to test it out, i would lose 3million or more every month cuz it was not really profitable. So i tried to assign it on a new and much longer route but still i would lose millions. Is there a way to make an a380 profitable? Btw i already tried like assigning it to every one of my 60 routes, i tried advertising it, and tried to change the seating configurations but still i would lose money. Thanks in advance

Hello all and congrats to the developers for this great project so far.

I have some doubts and hope someone can help me.

1) I want to play with TAP (Portuguese airliner) and whenever i start the game there is no fleet on them. Is there a way to add the current fleet of this airline to the game so i can start it realistic or do we have to start with 0 planes? This question is valid to any other airline of course

2) Each slot that i reserve equals to a possible flight? Lets say i reserve 10 slots on LPPT and EGLL. Does that means i can assign 10 flights between these two destinations?

3) When i buy an aircraft does it include staff with it? Or do i have to assign pilots each time i buy an aircraft? If so, how does it work since the same plane might have different flights right?

  Recently while I was gathering information of old airlines, I realized that IATA code was not available until the 1960s. This infects some airlines which operates on airports ceased operation before 1960s due to the missing code and I do not know what to do with it.  Also, there are old airports using the same ICAO and IATA code as the new one yet with different name and location what can we do about it?

I just started playing this game, so please forgive me if there is an obvious solution to this questions, but how do you increase the number of planes that can be based at an airport?  I'm playing with a base at O'Hare and I would like to build up a sizeable network from there before I expand, but it will only let me base ten aircraft at O'Hare when I go to buy more.  Is there a way to increase this amount?  Thank you!

Is there a way to increase the difficulty of the game?
I started in different decades (30s, 50s, 80s, 2010), and after figuring out, which cities are in highest demand in my base and constructing routes to them, its just raining money.
I'm even hiring pilots and setting all possible wages to maximum, but still, even when my airplanes have only 30% of used capacity, I do make a huge surplus each month.

Or am I forgetting about something?

so I am encountering a weird problem.
I have started a new airline in Vietnam in 1955, and after buying my airplanes, getting pilots etc. I reserved plenty of slots at each of the airports which I want to fly to. I created the routes I want to fly and put attention to the distances regarding to what my planes can handle etc...

Now - when I want to schedule a route for one of my airplanes (under the category routes->airplanes), the game tells me, that I do not have enough slots in the airports. I don't understand what else I can do to convince the game that I actually have enough slots (in both my departing and destination airport). I've had the same problem with another game in Asia already.

In another saved game in Spain in 1940 it works fine. Are there regional problems with the game recognizing reserved slots in airports?
