As soppy as it might sound, i'd just like to take a minute to thank Christian "Pjank42" Sønderholm formally for all the hard work and genuine effort and the love he puts into The Airline Project, not just on the game itself, but the handling of the forum, dedication to his vision for the game.
So many indie developers give up and cash out once their game becomes successful, or burn out and lose their passion, making their game bland and lifeless, and it's so nice to see that it's not the case here.
The Airline Project has quickly become my favourite game, and i'm glad to experience it as it develops into Pjank42's undiluted vision. I genuinely hope this projects goes on for years to go.
Christian, i'm really glad that you made this game, and just generally think you're a really cool dude for it, and rememeber if any help is needed feel free to ask. As for monetization you can always put this project on itch.io and set it so users give some donations to support the game.
Thanks again, and now i'm going to go conqueer some skies.
Feel free to wax sentimental in the comments here, i think there's a few people besides me that feel like they haven't managed to get their point across properly about how much this game means to them, go on, out do me, i challenge you.
PS: thanks to all the other actors aswell. you know yourselves.

Hi Guys,
So i can create flights throughout the day however from 2300-0500 i can't start a flight, and its kind of annoying, i know some airports like LHR and
SYD close but DXB stays open 24/7 so it would be neat if i could schedule flights 24/7...
Is this a glitch or a feature that needs implementing?

Hi guys!
I came up with a new scenario idea (for later use when the pax will be able to chose based on the prices).
Airline in question: WizzAir.
Scenario Name: The Rise of a New Giant.
The year is 2003. The airline industry is thriving and reaching new, yet unseen frontiers. It's the best moment to jump in and make a fortune.
You have been elected as a CEO of a new airline called WizzAir and your goal is to become the biggest airline in Europe.
However, your work will not be as easy as you may think. There is too much competition on the market, and Ryanair just strenghtened their position on the European Aviation market.
You have to find a way to dominate all of your oponents and conquer the market by creating better coverage all over Europe with fiendlier prices.
But be careful, the others will try to supress you by trying to create more lines, lovering their prices, and, maybe creating lines there, where you would like to do so too.
Your goal: Become the number one European Carrier till 2053.
You can only use Airbus aircrafts!

Hey,
it would be great to have a dynamic number of Opponents. When starting in the early game the number is very limited to around 20-40. It would be cool if you come then in the mid/late-game to see a dynmic in the AI world, new airlines are found and others are getting bancrupt or even merge.
Maybe set a minimum and a maximum value for number of airliners

I know I said Wednesday but it seems like all reported bugs have been fixed, so I have decided to release fix patch 2 a day earlier.

The fixes included in this patch are: - Fixed issue with route scheduler and overlapping
- Fixed issue with seasonal flights disapearring
- Fixed issue where it was possible to rent a lot of aircrafts at once even that the home base couldn't handle it
- Fixed issue with loading of employees
- Optimization on flight expenses
- Fixed issue when upgrading service center
- Fixed issue with AI able to use airports before they are actually built
If no new major bugs reported before the weekend, then we will start developing the new version in the weekend

Do you plan to rework the opening dates of the Airports in the early (1930/40) game? In my last game I had the new Berlin-Brandenburg-Airport already in 1930, same with MUC (commenced operation in 1992)
