if i remember correctly we had in v1 a folder called "Addons" inside the data folder, right? It would be great to have this feature back in v2. So we don't need to write inside the original xml files and just add a a new extra xml file that will override the default information for airports etc

I need some help since I am looking into implementing departures during the night, and I can't figure out which airports allows this. So far it seems like European and Australian airports don't allow it, but do anybody knows anything regarding the topic? Also if it is per region, country or airport

Leasing Aircraft should be more intuitive. The costs should be listed, and confirmed upon leasing or when terminating a lease.

Also, there are no costs associated with signing a deal with a certain leasing company. I would assume that the listed percentage discount applies only when you sign a deal, correct? But, again... can't discern the difference or do a cost benefit analysis without any information.

This program desperately needs to let the user take a look under the hood, so to speak. Otherwise, it's just nothing more than guessing at things... that you can't even fully analyze, before nor after the fact.

Another related question. Does the distance flown on an aircraft matter? I don't see any distance increases. So, I'm wondering if the only thing that matters is the age of aircraft; or, if the distance matters at all.

Finally, are there any objectives to achieve within this simulation? Other than the opening screen music... I don't feel like I'm welcome, nor working towards anything. There needs to be a lot more hand-holding going on... so that the user can feel like they are a part of something. For instance, there are no emails on day one. There should at least be emails and news feeds that kick off your campaign. But, it just feels stale, right from the beginning. Which, is worse than going to actual work. At least there is a chance for recognition IRL. This program seems to lack any there-there.

Is there a chance of a bi-weekly flightplan in the future? 

At the Moment I use 3 airliners for a daily long haul flight. For example, "airliner 1" Monday-Wednesday-Friday for the outbound flight
and Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday for the return flight.

"Airliner 2" outbound Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday and return Wednesday-Friday-Sunday. The third airliner takes the rest and 5 days are free for use.

I think a bi-weekly flightplan could solve this problem.

So today I was playing a bit with a harder load (25 lines, which means 24 opponents) and the game clock just froze in March 2003.
I found a way to work around it, but I had to click continously to other tabs to make it move forward.

Can you check this issue?

Hi guys. So after scrolling around, I found a complete fee description for Wizzair.

Here are some new fee types which should be included:
- Update the Luggage policy (Dividing the 1 Bag policy into two different entries, one should be up to 20kg and one should be up to 32kg).
- Large Cabin bag fee
- Sports equipment, musical instruments (low percentage)
- Administration Fee

- Assigned Seat policy Fee
- Priority Boarding and Fast Lane Security Check

I think this would give more opportunity to the player to adjust his company (especially the Low Cost airlines) to gain more profit, as many LCC are relying on these fees to maintain their position on the market.

while playing over the last days (without any CTD) I thought about some more features that would make the game even greater

1.: At the moment the block-time (turnaround) is fix at 1h. It would be cool if this can be set by hand. For example Ryanair has a blocktime from 25-30 min. Lufthansa for theier small Airbus 45min and for the big ones around 1-1,5h. And in the early game it is quite unrealistic to have a blocktime of 1h for an aircraft with 5 pax.

2. In the beginning of my games I used the Airliners-Tab to add my flights to a specific airliner, over the time I changed to the Routes-Tab to add flights. And there i ran into - lets call it a unrealistic behavior. When adding a new flight, the game suggest me airliners that are free at the given time and can perform this flight, but the game is not considering the last airport of these airliners. For example: N00001 is landing at 10:00 in PHNL but is suggested as a airliner for a light at 12:00 from KFJK. Adding the feature would make the dispatcher process a lot more realistic, when managing a global fleet.

I was playing versus American and United, and noticed that only American had 60 Aircraft?

Is there any way to level the field at the start?

In my two attempts, I cannot seem to find Southwest Airlines.
