Loans - free endless money? |

version: Tap 2 V13 (latest)
1st issue Loans:
it seems you can take endless ammount of loans (billions of $ with ne real assets to vouch for it
also possible to buy all the planes you want ... just order 100 planes and take the 5% interest loan for full ammount of purchase
as you never pay it back nor pay interest but the remaining month and remaining loan are dropping every month
though the statistics arent clear but 5 billion loans installment and interest monthly would certainly exceed 6 million monthly profit on routes, but it doesnt so its certainly not paid but you still gonna be debt free after 20 years having the 50 planes gifted to you for free
2nd issue taxes:
taxes .. at the end of the year you get a mail telling you whats your profit and whats you taxes to pay....
though again due to only monthly stats its not possible to check if it is correct but the tax ammount mentioned in the mail (i.e 2.0120.000 $) is not matching the deducted 2.780.000 $ i actually got deducted. this happens every year that those amounts aint matching.
3rd issue Sharemarket / takeovers:
as mentioned in another post is the shares market + take over ( merger/subsidary )
100 shares a 8$ = 800$ value for an airline with 100+ planes worth more then a billion $ seems to be a real bargain.
as airlines are usually major share companies worth hundreds of millions if not billions, maybe theres a possibility to create 1.000.000 shares for each airline at gamestart and set the share price to value of company (i.e. a company that is worth 50.000.000 $ (assets less loans) would have a 50$ share price by 1 million shares) else you can just take out easily a 1 billion $ airline at a purchase price of 800 $ (100 shares a 8$)
and currently the takeover is end of game anyway as merging / taking over as a subsidiary company will crash the game.
you can delete routes but if you check statisitics or try to access planes of the sub / or merged company owned planes the game stops to respond and if it was saved after the merger / takeover as a sub the save game cant be reloaded.

Maintenance - A B C and D checks |

Hello,
I wanted to resurrect an old favourite of mine ... maintenance. In the current version it seems to be instantaneous. I buy a bunch of 2nd hand aircraft, click on perform maintenance ... they're back up to 100% immediately. OK, this feature probably isn't working yet. Maybe it needs to be linked into scheduling.
Realistically, a modern jet gets an A check roughly every month, a C check annually, and a D check every 6 - 10 years. One of the biggest challenges of running an airline is managing the maintenance / schedules / reputation. Because C and D checks take so long, they often coincide with seasonal changes in schedule. Airlines plan for these years in advance. Leased aircraft can be replaced before the D check is due. Owned aircraft can be sold and replaced, or else the down time must be planned for.
In game, A checks could easily be handled by expanding the schedule for each airliner from one week to one month and treating the A check as a hard-coded "route" that takes 24 hours. I know the actual check takes half that time, but most airlines allocate a full day. The expanded schedule would make it easier to manage LR aircraft running on a 48 hour cycle, which a 7 day schedule can't cope with.
Also, I'd like to see design flaws, like those of the Comet in the 1960's, and the current problems with the 787 with RR engines, and the 737-Max aircraft incorporated into the game. I'm currently flying a bunch of Comets in the 1960's ... none have fallen out of the sky yet ...

When launching on a win 8 PC I have on loan, it wont launch, and instead states:The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occurred in the application at location 0x74f285bc. Any help shedding light on this, as it's proved resistant to all of my normal troubleshooting, and doesn't appear to pop up on other machines (I have 2 Win 10, 1 Win 7, and, miraculously, 1 Win 2000 machines that seem to have none of such issues, so I'm thinking it might be related to the OS, because if my old EMonster can run it, it is clearly not hardware related.
New info x86 doesn't work on Win8, redownloaded and used x64 instead. seems to work now. It doesn't show up among the tabs, however.

Setting ticket price when setting up route |

Hello,
My last comment for now, as I'm going to wait for the next version before continuing.
1960: When I create a route there is a default price for economy and first class seats. What is it based on?
When creating the route I should chose an aircraft type I'd prefer to use, the options I would like, such as seat layout, meals, etc.
Then, I should be able to see my predicted costs, estimate a load factor, decide on a profit margin, and have the price calculated. There is no background data available when I'm setting prices.

Routes not show correctly on map |

Hello,
I create a new route: LHR-ORD-DAL as a full stop, not a technical stop. I presume a full stop means it counts as a point for pax to embark or disembark. When I look on the map it shows a line representing LHR-DAL ... and misses ORD altogether.

Hello,
Game start 1960. I buy a few B720-20. Set 2 class seating. First class set to 20 seat. Click back. Click seat map again, software has assigned 16 seats not 20. Easily repeatable in new games.

Hello,
Set up a route and I'm given a distance in km. Purchase an aircraft and the range has no unit of measure. Is it miles or km?
What is the unit of measure for seat pitch?

Hello,
Started BEA based in London in 1960. Came with 2 slots. Scheduled LHR-ORD and LHR-PHL, both departing at 10:00am. Now those 2 slots are used up so I apply for more slots. Slots are reserved, but I can't use them. Apply for slots in PHL or ORD and the slots are rented and immediately available. What's the problem in LHR?
