AI Route Habits |

I wanted to start a bit of a discussion about the route creation habits of the current AI. I know the AI are getting a revamp soon, but I'm not sure what's getting touched so I thought I'd mention it here anyways.
Currently in 2.13 the AI seem to really enjoy creating random routes nowhere near their focus airports/hubs. I personally feel there should be more of an emphasis on AI creating new routes just within their hubs, especially considering that both the Hub and Spoke and Point to Point business models of Airlines still place full emphasis on hubs/focus cities.

Hi guys,
Maybe you can answer this. I am doing a flight between Larnaca (LCA) and Rome FCO (FCO). Ob the flight planning screen it says that the estimated demand is Very High but when it comes to flying the route i am only getting 1.38% Load Factors.
Any ideas?

[Approved] Russian Air Laws (restricted airspace) |

Hey, I recently found out about how Russia only allows one airline per country (except the UK with both BA & Virgin Atlantic) to fly over it's airspace.
Maybe this could be implemented with like a similar system to hubs or something?
I'm not sure, just thought it was a cool fact to be honest.
---Also, this links to costs involved with flying over countries, e.g certain prices for flying over certain nations.
Thanks,
Matt

Here's a thought.
I have always been interested in the development of modern Russian Airliners.
I have flown on many former soviet aircraft with no issues, inclusing my favourite, A Yak-42.
Russia started to develop modern short range airliners for the global market starting with the Sukhoi SSJ-100 Series.
But looking at the stats the new Irkut MC-21 Series aircraft seem a better investment overall than the new Bombardier C Series/Airbus A220 Series.
Maybe more global airlines should look to Russia for a small airline insteadof the established market of Airbus and co
thoughts?
