Open border and custom scenarios not working properly |

I haven't seen any explanation of how open borders are supposed to work but I presume it would allow an airline to fly from one domestic airport to another domestic airport in another country. Say for example, from a domestic airport in France to a domestic airport in Ireland because they're both Schengen countries. But what I find is that there's no difference between countries with open borders and those without. Is there something I'm missing?
When I try to create custom scenarios and add airliners using <airliners> they don't appear in the game. If I add routes then airliners appear, but only Airbus planes for some reason. I've included the code I use below.
Code: <airliners>
<airliner type="Airbus A320-200" quantity="4"></airliner>
</airliners>
Code: <routes>
<route origin="JFK" destination="DFW" airliner="Boeing 737-800" />
</routes>

Evening all,
Has anyone tried playing tap using aircraft with less than 20 seats and what has your experience been in regards to profitability?
I am attempting to do the same using executive jets.

About 5 months ago I suggested a Discord Channel and the feeling for it then was Luke Warm at best.
I am wondering what the consensus is now.
If the Poll above is in Favour, would the Admin team allow me to build on?

Airline Stocks in NG |

In the current version of the game the stock market portion of the game is pretty simplistic. You can buy and sell shares of your or your opponent airlines but there isn't really much change in the price of the stocks from month to month and the number of stocks for the airline seem relatively small (or it is by percentage and the price of stock really doesn't make sense). Is there plans for making this subset of the game more robust in NG? I know it isn't a primary feature of the game, but I like having it there. It reminds me of the stock purchases in Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon. Some of that had to do with the AI, which sounds like will be upgraded in NG, but some of it was more realistic in the sense of number of shares, stocks splitting, board of directors commenting on stock price, etc.

Hey, I was just wondering if HTTPS was working on these forums. When I registered for the forums I couldn't register with https in the address, which means my information was passed in clear text when I registered. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried in Firefox and Chrome.
If the forums do not have HTTPS activated, is there any thought of getting a certificate so that they can?

I've got to say, because of this pandemic I found this game. Thank you for making a sim like this, and I can't wait to see what NG will be like. It has been fun so far, and taken up a good portion of my time.
